The Philodendron Silver Stripe is the kind of plant that rewards a closer look. Its deep green, heart-shaped leaves are traced with soft cream and silver streaks that catch the light in a way that feels almost luminous — elegant rather than loud, refined rather than flashy. A fast-growing viner that trails beautifully or climbs with purpose, it's one of the most versatile and underrated variegated Philodendrons you can buy online.
Fun fact: The Silver Stripe is a cultivar of Philodendron hederaceum, the same species behind the Brasil and Neon — but with a completely different personality. Where those cultivars go bold, the Silver Stripe goes subtle. The cream and silver variegation runs along the midrib and edges of each leaf, creating a striped effect that's consistent and reliable — no reversion, no surprises, just clean, steady beauty. It's a collector's plant that also happens to be genuinely easy to grow.
Care Guide
Light: Bright, indirect light keeps the variegation crisp and the growth vigorous. It tolerates medium light but the silver tones may become less pronounced. Avoid direct sun — it scorches the leaves.
Watering: Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering is the most common mistake — it leads to root rot quickly. Always use a pot with drainage holes.
Humidity & Temperature: Prefers higher humidity but adapts well to average household conditions. Comfortable in a wide temperature range of 65°F–85°F (18°C–29°C). Keep away from cold drafts and AC vents.
Soil: A well-draining, airy mix is ideal — potting soil with orchid bark and perlite works great. Good drainage is essential.
Fertilizer: Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer at half strength. Skip in fall and winter.
Pruning: Trim leggy vines to encourage a bushier, fuller plant. Cuttings root easily in water — great for propagating.
Pro Tip: Let it trail from a shelf or hanging basket for a cascading effect, or give it a moss pole to climb — climbing encourages larger leaves with more pronounced variegation. Either way, it looks polished and intentional in any space.
Toxicity: Toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Keep out of reach of pets and children.

Alocasia Variegated Frydek Brandie Perry
The plant did not arrive in great shape. However, it was an alocasia and I did not add insulation so this is not on the seller (and we all know alocasia does not travel well anddddd they come back)
From start to finish the transaction was amazing. They gave me a discount for my next order even though I didn't ask for one because I knew the risks, and they continued to answer my questions and help me! Will def order again from them and would encourage others to as well!
