Care Requirements
Light: Bright, indirect light. Too much direct sun scorches the velvety leaves; too little causes pale, weak growth.
Water: Keep soil consistently moist but never soggy. Allow the top 1–2 inches to dry between waterings to avoid root rot.
Humidity & Temp: Thrives above 50–60% humidity. Use a humidifier or pebble tray. Keep temperatures above 60°F (15°C).
Soil: Use a chunky, well-draining aroid mix — potting soil, orchid bark, perlite, and charcoal. Ensure the pot has drainage holes.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer at half-strength every 2–4 weeks during spring and summer.
Dormancy: May go dormant in winter, losing leaves if light or temperatures drop. Reduce watering significantly during this period.
Toxicity: Toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Keep out of reach of children and animals.

The plant did not arrive in great shape. However, it was an alocasia and I did not add insulation so this is not on the seller (and we all know alocasia does not travel well anddddd they come back)
